Take part in the challenges of the Virtual Sports Pass 2021
What are the challenges of the Virtual Sports Pass?
To perpetuate the spirit of the Montreal Games and keep 6-12 year olds active and healthy despite being confined, we are offering them stimulating sporting challenges. The idea is simple: give you the opportunity to try, at home or outside, more than twenty pleasant and stimulating sporting challenges.
By identifying your delegation (Côte-des-Neiges – Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough) and your referring establishment (school, community center or sports club), you will accumulate points, which will allow the ranking of delegations at the end of the program.
In addition, a large competition will be organized among all participants in the challenges of the Virtual Pass-Sports. Awesome, isn’t it? While waiting for your participation, here is some information that will help you prepare.
How to participate in the challenges of the Virtual Sports Pass?
To participate, children must be between 6 and 12 years old on October 1, 2021 and reside in the Côte-des-Neiges – Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough.
First, you need to create an account first. We have added a “Register now” or “Register for the Virtual Sports Pass challenges” button which can be found respectively in the Message section of our home page and on our Montreal Games page.
You can complete all the information necessary to create your account. VERY IMPORTANT: Please choose the CDN-NDG borough as your delegation AND indicate your school, community center or sports club as your establishment in the “Referred by” box.).
Once the form is completed, you will have access to your personal Passe-Sports area to see the sporting challenges offered to you 3 times a week until June 30, 2021. You can take up these challenges and submit your participation video for every successful sporting challenge. Your goal: complete all the challenges of the Virtual Sports Pass that will be offered to you!
The Sports Pass: your personal online space
My Pass-Sports is your personal space which will allow you to consult the challenges to be achieved and those you have already accomplished. Each week, 3 new challenges will be put online. An email will be sent to you to keep you informed.
The challenges: some few simple rules
A video presented by the ambassadors of the Montreal Games will present the challenge to be achieved. Warning! Perform the challenge outside or in a room large enough not to hurt yourself.
To get your virtual medal, you must send a video of the completion of your challenge. Please note that the video sent must only contain the successful challenge. It is strongly suggested to practice first before attempting to complete the sporting challenge in question.
To validate the success of your challenge, the Montreal Games team will watch the video before presenting you with a virtual medal. This way, you will see your medal the day after you submit your video. If the Montreal Games officials see an unsuccessful challenge, the medal will not be awarded and you can try your luck again.
The more challenges you complete, the more chances you have to win a 2-night stay for your whole family at Fairmont Château Montebello. Consult the contest rules (in French only).
For each medal obtained, you will have an additional chance in the grand draw to win the prize. If you complete 30 challenges, you will have a 30 times more chance of winning than a participant who completed only one challenge. The Montreal Games also have plenty of other surprises in store for you!
To preserve the representation of the delegations that are at the heart of the objectives of the Montreal Games, you will compete individually to collect virtual medals, but you will also compete under the banner of your delegation (Côte-des-Neiges borough – Notre-Dame-de-Grâce) and your referring establishment (school, community center or sports club).
Thus, until the end of the Virtual Passe-Sports challenge program, each achievement of a challenge will be counted in the results by delegation. As of June 30, 2021, the banners for each discipline will be given to the borough with the highest participation.
